It has been brought to our attention that there was a wrong date for our Annual Play Fore Kids Golf Tournament. The tournament is scheduled for June 4, 2012 not June 18, 2012. Recognizing Our Founder
We would like to take this opportunity to recognize our dear friend and founder, Denise Plaxco, for all she has done on the behalf of our organization. For the past 11 years, Denise has given her time and her heart to our families, helping us to create memories that will last a lifetime. These years of dedication will be difficult to match and have earned her a permanent place of honor in our hearts. While we will always be indebted to Denise for her years of support and inspiration, at this time she has chosen to shift her efforts and take some much needed time for herself and her family. We wish her all the best in her endeavors and know that, while her focus may have shifted, she will always be an integral part of our organization.

Childhood Cancer Careline, Giving from the Heart provides financial and emotional support to childhood cancer patients and their families undergoing treatment at local care facilities, including all of the regional medical centers, including Childrens Hosptial/Medical Center, the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Group Health, and Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. We are recognized by the US Government as a 501(c)(3) organization. IRS Tax ID#: 91-2171599. We are also a registered non-profit corporation in the State of Washington.
The foundation is endorsed by many local groups and institutions, and by The American Cancer Society. We have worked side by side with all of the regional medical centers in helping improve the lives of family's affected with childhood cancer.
Beneficiaries of Childhood Cancer Careline Giving from the Heart programs include Puget Sound-area residents and families from throughout the greater Northwestern US who come to Western Washington seeking the latest treatments for their children. We also provide ongoing support to childhood cancer survivors and their families, and to bereaved families.
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, age, national origin, political party, language, sex, sexual preference, or physical handicap when delivering vital services to children with cancer.
