
Childhood Cancer Careline provides the Bag of Hope to childhood cancer families that have a child diagnosed with cancer, and is receiving treatment at local hospitals at no cost. Bag of Hope includes the following items:

- Teddy Bear
- Childs quilt (hand made)
- Coloring books, markers, crayons, crossword puzzles
- Disposable camera
- Childhood Cancer awareness packet with support referrals
- Childhood Cancer awareness gold ribbon pin
- Nancy Keene Childhood cancer family support books
- American Cancer Society support books and reading pamphlets
- Neck pillow for comfort during treatments
- Notebook, calendar, address book, journal, food coupon book
We are always looking for sponsors for Bags of Hope
The Bag of Hope program is provided to children diagnosed with cancer this helps the children have comfort items and entertainment, while in the hospital receiving treatment. The value is $250.00 per bag and we receive $125.00 in donations.

The importance of Childhood Cancer Careline in our communities
Programs Provided by Childhood Cancer Careline
Outreach & Emergency Services - This includes gas cards, phone cards, meal vouchers rent, electric bills, phone bill, insurance co-pays, prescriptions not covered by medical, funeral & burial.
Family Events - We sponsor annual events for our families such as picnic, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month Events, Family Fall Harvest Party, Childhood Cancer Family Vigil, Teen Night Out, Seahawks Childhood Cancer, Family Night and Easter Extravaganza.
Bag of Hope - Upon diagnosis all family receive a Bag of Hope. This comfort bag includes information materials, cancer books for diagnosis, teddy bear, quilt, coloring books, markers, special bed pillow, gas card and phone card.
Holiday Adopt-A-Family - Local community members and corporation adopt a childhood cancer family for the Holidays. This includes organizing Thanksgiving and Christmas meals, presents and deliveries.
