Holiday Adopt A Family Program
Many parents of children with cancer are forced to leave their jobs due to extended time spent in the hospital, which leads to additional financial burdens.
For families struggling with childhood cancer, finances often become an overwhelming burden; one parent is frequently forced to stop working and become a fulltime caregiver, which allows mounting medical bills to quickly equal debt. For these families, the holiday season ceases to be a lighthearted time of giving, and becomes yet another financial stressor. Childhood Cancer Careline’s annual Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program helps to ease the financial and emotional hardship of the holidays for childhood cancer families. This program is made possible entirely through community support, and every year our organization has been blessed with the donors, volunteers, and sponsors needed to help us fulfill our mission.
We give thanks to all those who have helped us in the past to bring the magic of the season to so many struggling families, and we would like to again invite the public to help us continue this project for the upcoming holiday season.
If you would like to donate, simply emaI a completed copy of the Adopter Form to

You can also adopt a family as a group, be it your office, scouting troop, book club, class room, etc.; everyone can share in the experience! Adoption is an easy way to spread the joy of the holidays to families who truly need the support.
